I love this pizza, especially the crust. I am surprised at the negative reviews, but not that shocked because people here tend to get very picky about pizza.

Our first visit and we only tried the pizza. The staff were friendly and upbeat. Few eat-in customers for a Friday night, but there semed to be a constant stream of take-out customers. Decor / ambience nothing special, but quiet. The pizza: Good, but not great. Not being from the East coast, I find it hard to appreciate crust like cardboard. As with most all pizza places, too much salt, too little spices. Prices reasonable for the area.

If you like italian food served in an intimate setting, you will love this place. The food is excellent and the portions are large. There is a wide variety to choose from, and it is all cooked to order. Their Pizza is superb. It is a very enjoyable place to eat.

Couponing scares me. This restaurant, in a strip plaza normally frequented by the over 60 set, coupons through various mail and internet sites. We arrived on a Friday night at about 7 p.m., and only two other tables were seated. Another scary indication. Our coupon entitled us to a buy one get one entree with the purchase of two beverages. Entrees generally run between $16 and $18, but the portion sizes are more in tune with the value of the meal after the coupon is deducted. Entrees come with soup or salad and pasta. The tomato sauce tastes like it's fresh out of a can. It was very salty and lacked any other flavor. The mozzarella cheese on top of the entrees is sliced mozzarella like you would get at a deli counter. It also was very salty. My companion had chicken parmesan which was one single chicken breast and served with spaghetti. I had something that was called an eggplant stack which was like an eggplant rollatini horizontally with the addition of spinach and sliced tomato. My dish sounded much better on the menu. The bright spot of the evening was our server who is very friendly, accommodating, and constantly checking on our bread and drinks. With only three tables by the time we were leaving, that was the easy part. In addition to the two dinners, the sodas, and 1 alacarte cup of soup, the bill would have been $43. After the coupon, it was $27 plus tip on the higher amount. This was our second visit in 6 weeks, and will likely be our last. About seven years ago, they were the place for a pizza restaurant in the area. I don't know if it's a different owner since then or changed due to the economy, but it is a shame either way.

The food is awesome, the wait staff is very nice. Delivery is always prompt. I just ordered from them I got a turkey sub and an order of fries. The fries are piping hot and the subway is nice and soft. I definitely recommend them. The pasta is also amazing, you really can't go wrong with anything you order from here.

Generic pizza spot with average pizza(based on an earlier encounter) & average pasta dishes perfect for a pre theatre snack before going to the Delray Cinema on Atlantic and Hagen Ranch. This review is not based upon the food but the service. In a nutshell we had a young woman with an attitude who was unable to wait for us to make up our mind about our pizza toppings. After 30 seconds or slightly more she left our table abruptly stating that she had too many other people to serve.... I ran after her stating that we were just about ready to give her our order which we wanted right away since we had a movie to make... As she picked up our menus from the table after our order was taken......she stated that I should have "could have handed"her the menus....With that kind of "tude" we we decided that popcorn at the movies seemed like a better deal than dealing with a server who was either having a bad day or perhaps a bad life.... We abruptly left the restaurant without having dinner...never to return.

Tonight I went with my husband and cousin. It was pretty busy when we got there and we had about a fifteen minute wait. I had spaghetti marinara. It came with a choice of soup or salad. I got the salad which was good with okay blue cheese dressing. My spaghetti was perfectly cooked. It's nice to get spaghetti that's not overcooked. The sauce was tasty. My husband had minestrone soup and baked ziti. He said it was good. My cousin ordered the chicken Marsala, which came with spaghetti. I tasted it and it was okay, but the Marsala sauce was rather nondescript. The serving sizes were pretty large. Our food came with rolls and butter and garlic rolls. Both types of rolls were delicious. I didn't try the pizza, but I saw several pizzas being served to other tables. The pizzas looked good and people seemed to be enjoying them.

The absolute worst. My Sicilian pie looked like it was frozen pizza from publix. I would have saved time and money buying tombstone pizza. The chicken dish I got was skimpy, and the chicken did not seem fresh. The veggies in the salad were also subpar and not close to fresh.

Used to love the pizza here, but it isn't as great as it used to be. I think they're not being as careful in the preparation. The crust is too large and doughy, the sauce is too sweet, and the cheese is not evenly distributed. The slices aren't cut evenly, and I'm not talking about small differences. Some slices are twice the size of others. They are really busy, so maybe they feel it doesn't matter. It's really a shame that they let the quality fall so far.

Places like this should go out of business. On a recent first visit we saw about half the tables full of garbage from clients that had paid their checks and left. No one bothered to clean up! The food was also disgraceful. We had the eggplant which was inedible. Pizza at a nearby table didn't look any better.

In the past this used to be an excellent pizza shop, however recently the quality of the pizza has deteriated. I recently bought a pie and the sauce and cheese did not even come close to covering the rear of the slice. There was way too much dough with nothing on it. The pizza is reasonably priced but it is currently not worth the money.

Good place for some quick pizza or pasta. Not somewhere to go if your expecting "fine dining". food was great though and the employees were friendly and helpful.

Let's do a real review, shall we? Came for lunch, and walked in not sure what to expect. Place has seen better days; totally out of date decor with too many dust catchers: the unneeded pizza statue near the door, the drapery border over the windows, and huge old fashioned lights. Moreover, I was taken aback by the number of flies here. There were a lot, and it was disconcerting. As for patrons, the other two people eating were at least 100 years old. Just pointing it out. Service was polite and quick. No issues there. Salad came first, and it was crisp and fresh. Nice. But dressing was not homemade, and it tasted bottled and average. Still, crisp lettuce and veggies is a good start. Eggplant took a while to cook, which is a good thing - I like cooked to order food, period. Eggplant came out hot; a tad underflavored -- needed a bit more seasoning and spice. Eggplant was tender, and I certainly ate it all. Broccoli was steamed but way overcooked; soft and mushy and without any residual crispness whatsoever. Probably better for elderly teeth, but not for me! Overall this us a "fair" place, maybe 2.5 stars. If they clean out the flies and update the decor, maybe the kitchen will work a little harder to produce real top quality meals. We shall see....

Staff was nice and friendly. What we had: Meatballs: they were okay, they obviously used canned sauce. Garlic bread: was good but a little too oily. I would eat it again. Pizza: Probably the worst pizza I've ever had. We ordered a large with italian sausage and mushroom. Sauce was way too watery, cheese tasted old and gross, and the sausage wasn't even Italian sausage like it said on the menu. The crust tasted and looked from a box, it was too chewy. In all honesty, I would rather order from papa johns. I will say that they had customers come in but they were an older crowd. They probably are so use to this food and too lazy to branch out. They are keeping this restaurant alive. I will never come back here.

Horrible Horrible Horrible. Rating on food alone, I wouldn't recommend this place at all! Food appeared to be microwaved and extremely oily. Cooks talking on cellphones, employees spraying window cleaner on mirrors during service. Only one soup choice available (despite being a Friday evening at "peak" hour). Salad a joke with a bit of rotten tomato. Had a chicken parm and gnocchi with meat sauce. Staff was very friendly and when we asked the food to be wrapped we observed the waitress make a comment to another employee that we didn't touch our food and disliked it (which judging by the expressions of the other employee it was not a surprise). I live supporting the local folks since most push out the best food, I do not think that this would be a place to chance (not unless new management/cooks are brought in).

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
